it's back!
well my host has been going through some downtime recently, so they decided to get new providers. which meant that every single one of their clients had to switch their dns servers, which killed my site and my email for a couple of days. just in case you were wondering. anyway, it should be back for good now.
i took my sister on her christmas outing yesterday. i gave her a $20 gift certificate to barnes & noble and the promise that i would take her book shopping and out for lunch. so we went yesterday and she picked out four books and i got two for myself - a book on xml and "ap world history success". it's supposed to help me make a good grade on my ap exam which i'm going to fail miserably later in the year. we'll see if it works. anyway, we had taco cabana and life was good and stuff. i still owe my brother his christmas outing - he and i are going to go see the movie holes when it comes out, since it's his favorite book and he's just ecstatic that they're making a movie out of it.
i have an algebra project to do and an english paper to rewrite tonight, and i've started neither. surprise. i need to go shopping for rubber bands for the algebra project (we have to find a constant variation between the unstretched length of a rubber band and the length it can stretch before breaking. or something like that).
man, i can't wait until spring break. in 5 days (count them... 5!) at this time, i will be on a plane headed for new york city, wherein which i will embark on many fun and exciting adventures, including meeting lauren. w00t! i can't wait... 'twill be mucho fun.
i should probably go do my homework now...

this thing really needs a layout.
er. you know, maybe i should like, stop using the boring mt default template and come up with one of my wonderful layouts for this weblog. or. maybe i could get lauren to help me come up with one. or something. anyway. any suggestions? i'm trying to think what makes me happy at the moment (that's how i always do my weblog designs... it encourages me to post and i enjoy looking at it).
i totally bombed a history test today. it could be due in part to the fact that my total apathy for school and anticipation of spring break caused me not to read the assigned material which the test was over. that could have been it. boy did i have fun bsing those essays though. i used lots of big words, and my teacher's the type to be excited by that. i have a feeling i'm gonna get full credit on that. objective section? nuh-uh. i'll be lucky to get a 50.
i've found a new obsession. the wb show "everwood". i got unwillingly hooked when i was flipping through and saw gregory smith (who plays ephram brown) rocking out on schubert's impromtu #3 like nobody's business. man, i wish i could play like that. anyway, i'm downloading and watching all the episodes now and it's good.
by the way, who watched 24 last night? holy. freaking. guacamole. they just set off a nuclear bomb on a tv show. in the middle of the desert. i can't believe they're making us wait 3 weeks for the next episode. wait, yes i can. evil fox people.
only 2 more days of school! wheeeeeeeee....
